Ich füüüürchte, Dronte hat in Erwägung gezogen, dass es mehrere Leute auf dieser unseren Erde gibt, die diesen Namen tragen. Abgesehen davon finde ich obige Aussage ziemlich fies, missbilligend und die Auflistung der Links absolut sinnfrei und nutzlos. Frage iss: Muss das sein? Himmelherrgottnomma, wir sind alle keine 13 jährigen Spätpubertierenden mehr, die das Wort "Google" nich kennen.  Find das immer klasse, wenn Leute sich so schön hervorheben  :roll: Macht ein Forum btw nich angenehmer (-_-)

es kommt immer darauf an, wie man in den wald hineinschreit. mein posting ist nicht niveauloser oder hervorstechender als das, welches diese antwort forciert hat.
sarkasmus in allen ehren...aber alles und jeden in frage zu stellen oder durch den kakao zu ziehen, hat auch seine grenzen -- und nein --> ich bin nicht der uneheliche sohn von paul begg! .-)

ok, dronte, vielleicht habe ich mich etwas im Ton vergriffen, aber da ist mir kurzfristig der Arsch geplatzt.

Es interessiert einen Toten, ob Paul Begg nun Bücher über Ufos geschrieben hat oder nicht. Selbst wenn, alle seine Bücher zum Ripper sind durchweg 1a.

Im übrigen würde ich z.B. auch Interviews mit Knight oder Barrett führen (wenn sie denn noch unter den Lebenden wären), die beide einen äußerst zweifelhaften Ruf haben.

ich find's übrigens grossartig, dass es paul begg sein wird... und hätte dann auch noch zwei weitere fragen, die ein wenig mehr ins detail gehen:

- what do you think of martin fido’s theory, that an incredibly violent polish jew named nathan kaminsky was detained by police as a "lunatic wandering at large" shortly after the mary kelly murder and given the name aaron davis cohen in court, then sent to whitechapel workhouse infirmary for observation under the name david cohen? does the poor quality of the police notations that we are left with, i.e., druitt as a doctor, a no-first-name kosminski, and so on, leave open the possibility, just barely, that martin fido might have it exactly right? or is it more the type of trying to fit a round peg into a square hole that the police officers later confused the name and thought it was kosminski?

und apropos kosminski:

- is there really a two-year gap in which we don't know his whereabouts? it's hard to believe that the monster who made such a bloody butcher's shambles at 13 miller's court could simply wander the streets for the next 2 years, content to eat bread from the gutters and mumble to non-existent friends? without committing any further violence of any kind in all that time???

- what do you say to skeptical people who don't believe in ufos?  :roll:

A modest proposal:

Professor James Cameron said, that Jack the Ripper would have positioned himself behind the victims and asphyxiated each one. Why are there so few remarkable signs of a struggle, which must normally have taken place?

Prof. E. Camps said, that the victims share common wounds which had been inflicted with a sharp knife and yet were associated with far less spillage of blood than might have been expected and with a very sudden death. Why is the theory of asphyxiation so persistant?

jo, ich nehme alles zurück und behaupte das Gegenteil: Barett lebt!



Zum Thema Kaminsky:
ich weiss jetzt nicht, inwie weit du dich da auskennst, denke aber schon, dass du dich in diese Fido-Geschichte reingefuxt hast. Es ist ja so, dass die Theorie von wegen unbekannten Juden pauschal mal den Namen David Cohen zu geben komplett unbewiesen ist!

Die Aussage, das Kosminski sich von dem Dreck der Straße ernährte, stammte übrigens aus der Zeit seiner Einlieferung (roundabout, ich kann jetzt keine konkreten Zahlen nennen). Es kann gut sein, dass Kosminski 1888 noch halbwegs "alle Latten am Zaun hatte".

Warum ich das sage: ich weiss nicht so recht, ob diese Fragen nicht schon zu sehr ins Detail gehen. Bin da unentschlossen und bitte um Stellungnahmen...

Wir haben übrigens jetzt noch einen "Gang hochgeschaltet" und versuchen ein paar andere Konifären für ein Interview zu gewinnen. Lasst euch mal überraschen: wären Interviews mit Leuten, die auch noch nicht auf dem casebook interviewed wurden, die aber einen sehr guten Namen haben ;-)

an Kralle: wir sind übrigens auch an deinem Don Rumbelow dran. Der gehört allerdings zu den Kandidaten, die etwas schwieriger zu bekommen sind - der hat mit dem ganzen "Ripperologie"-Zirkus nicht mehr so viel am Hut...

Warum nicht, er hat doch die Fragen vorher schon, oder nicht?
Sollte für eine "leading authority", die er unbestritten ist, kein Problem sein.

Es ging mir nicht darum, in Zweifel zu zeihen, ob er das Wissen hat, etwas zu den Fragen zu sagen (wobei ich z.B. insbesondere bei deinen ersten beiden Fragen da meine Bedenken habe), sondern darum, dass das Interview zu derbe Züge annimmt, die für den Normal-Surfer ohne Hintergrundwissen, die ja unbestritten diese Seite zuhauf besuchen, nicht mehr nachvollziehbar sind.

schön das ihr auch an rumbelow dran seit, hat bei mir (neben begg) den 2 platz. ich habe ja die hoffnung, daß ich ihn nächste woche beim walk erwische. lt. walks.com ist er noch dabei.
